Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE

The 49ers are the favorites for their divisional round game Saturday.

The San Francisco 49ers might have one of the stingiest defenses in the NFL, but it isn't giving them too much help when it comes to this weekend's playoff odds.

The 49ers are 2 1/2-point favorites for Saturday's 8 p.m. divisional round game against the Green Bay Packers. The 49ers are coming off a bye week, while the Packers earned a 24-10 win over Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings in the wild card round.

The over/under is set at 44.5.

The biggest matchup might be Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers against the 49ers' secondary. At home this season, San Francisco has the best pass defense in the NFL, allowing just 166 yards per game. Rodgers averages 260 passing yards per contest on the road.

If the 49ers win Saturday, it might be because of Frank Gore and their solid running game. The 49ers average 162 rushing yards at home this season. Meanwhile, the Packers have been weak in that area, allowing 125 rushing yards per contest on the road -- which is 21st in the league.

This game will be a rematch of the season opener on Sept. 9. The 49ers won, 30-22.
