Vikings outside linebacker Chad Greenway is heading to the Pro Bowl now that DeMarcus Ware will be unable to attend due to scheduled surgery on his shoulder.

Now that the Vikings have been knocked out of the playoffs by the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota outside linebacker Chad Greenway will be headed to Hawaii to play in his second Pro Bowl, taking the place of Cowboys outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware, who will be unable to go due to scheduled surgery on his shoulder this offseason:

Greenway finished the 2012 season with 148 tackles and three sacks and helped the Vikings make it into the playoffs as a Wild Card team. Greenway will join fellow Vikings Adrian Peterson, fullback Jerome Felton, kicker Blair Walsh and defensive end Jared Allen in Hawaii for the Pro Bowl, which will be played on Jan. 27.
