If the Denver Broncos lose to the Baltimore Ravens, Denver's offensive coordinator could interview for the Jacksonville Jaguars' head coaching job.

It appears that the Jacksonville Jaguars are rooting for the Baltimore Ravens. If the Broncos lose, the Jaguars plan to attempt to interview Denver offensive coordinator Mike McCoy for Jacksonville's vacant head coaching position.

New Jaguars general manager David Caldwell fired Mike Mularkey after just one season in Jacksonville. Under Mularkey, the Jaguars went 2-14 -- tied for the worst record in the league.

McCoy has served on Denver's staff since the 2009 season, both as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Prior to coaching in Denver, McCoy spent nine seasons in Carolina as an offensive coach for the Panthers.

With Peyton Manning as his quarterback, McCoy's Broncos scored the second-most points in 2012, behind only the New England Patriots.

If the Broncos defeat the Ravens on Saturday, it appears the Jaguars will have to wait at least another week before interviewing McCoy. Denver enters Saturday's Divisional round contest as nine-point favorites.
