It's fairly common knowledge that Pete Carroll and Jim Harbaugh aren't the best of friends. Things got tense when they coached against each other at USC and Stanford, and that's carried over to the NFC West with one contretemps after another when their teams meet. But the Harbaugh-Carroll feud could reach its climax in a week, with both teams potentially meeting in the NFC Championship game. It puts 49ers fans in an odd spot of rooting for their rival in order to have one more home playoff game.
Harbaugh's wife, Sarah, came on the set of CSN Bay Area's postgame show on Saturday night, and expressed her preference for hosting the Seahawks as opposed to traveling to Atlanta. But not without first confirming her dislike for Carroll's team, "That's really a tough question because I really don't like Seattle at all. But I'd like to stay at home, so yes, I'm rooting for Seattle."
