Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley is one of the hottest coaching candidates in the NFL. He's scheduled to interview with Jacksonville later this week, but will he get there?
After orchestrating a Seahawks defense which led the NFL in points against, Seattle's Gus Bradley is one of the most sought-after coaching candidates. He's now scheduled to interview with the Jacksonville Jaguars later this week, according to a report from Albert Breer of the NFL Network.
While Bradley is planning to interview with the Jaguars, there's some question on whether he will be hired before he makes it to Jacksonville. Bradley will have a second interview with the Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday and is considered to be a favorite in Philadelphia. Bradley has also interviewed with the San Diego Chargers.
Bradley spent the last four seasons as the defensive coordinator in Seattle, with the Seahawks improving nearly every season. After finishing seventh in scoring defense last season, the Seahawks allowed a NFL-low 15.3 points per game this season.
In Jacksonville, Bradley joins a list of candidates which is also reported to include Rams offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer, Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden and current Jaguars defensive coordinator Mel Tucker.
