The Cardinals have hired Bruce Arians as their new head coach. Here's a look at the man who will be running the show in Arizona.

The Arizona Cardinals have officially named Bruce Arians as their new head coach after multiple reports were released earlier today indicating the news to come. His new gig will be Arians' first head coaching job in the NFL, this coming at the age of 60.

Arians led the Indianapolis Colts to a 9-3 record as interim head coach while Chuck Pagano was undergoing cancer treatment throughout the 2012 season. With plenty of young talent on offense, Arians fostered the 10th ranked offense in the league and led Andrew Luck and his group to a playoff appearance with an overall 11-5 record.

He will have his work cut out for him as soon as he arrives in the desert. The Cardinals finished 5-11 this season after jumping out to at 4-0 start to begin the year. Injuries along with a miserable offensive line plagued the offense.

Unfortunately, Arians can't bring Luck with him to Arizona. He will have to decide if Kevin Kolb is really the quarterback he wants heading into 2013. Don't be surprised if they look for someone new to start under center.
