Worthy injured his knee back in the regular season finale against the Vikings and did not suit up for the playoffs. He had the ACL surgery performed by Dr. James Andrews, who also operated on Robert Griffin III and Chris Clemons last week.
A second-round pick in the 2012 draft, Worthy mostly worked in a rotational role as a 3-4 defensive end. He finished the season with 14 tackles, 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble. It wasn't an overly impressive rookie campaign.
Worthy is now on the clock as he tries to rehab in time for the 2013 regular season. He is expected to miss most of the offseason program and will likely start training camp on the PUP list.
The Packers struggled with pass rush all season and didn't get the help from Worthy they were hoping for. Look for them to address the position again in the draft.
