Atlanta Falcons RB Michael Turner injured his ankle and his return is questionable.
Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner injured his ankle and was seen on the sideline trying to walk it off. Jacquizz Rodgers stepped in and will be receiving the workload until further notice. Rodgers took the all the snaps following Turner's injury.
He is arguably the more dynamic of the two. But the Falcons have not been relying on their passing game to get past the 49ers. They have been getting everything done through the air, establishing and maintaining a lead on the visiting Niners.

But the 49ers are physical up front, and they may need more than one undersized back against this smash mouth defense. Turner is having his ankle taped and is questionable to return. But given the circumstances and overall magnitude of the game, most would believe that Turner would do what he could to get back in the lineup.
