According to TiqIQ, ticket sales are down 20.36 percent from last year's Super Bowl between the Giants and Patriots. The average ticket as this point in time is selling for a mere $3,082, while the cheapest seat you can find is priced at $1,890. There are currently 5,000+ tickets available to one of the biggest events in all of sports.
However, that number fluctuated throughout championship Sunday. Before the 49ers kicked off against the Falcons, only 4,100+ tickets were on the market. After the completion of the NFC Championship, that number shot up to 4,900+.
The average ticket price only jumped up $12 by the end of AFC Championship.
Thinking of buying a suite at the Superdome? No problem. Just shell out $294,000+ and you'll be sitting in luxury on Feb. 3. Surely you're willing to pay that price for Beyonce's halftime show alone, right?
