The Houston Texans are now sending nine players to the 2013 Pro Bowl. Owen Daniels was added to the AFC roster on Monday to replace the injured Rob Gronkowski, who suffered a broken forearm against the Texans last weekend.
Daniels put in his best season since 2008 this year, catching 62 passes for 716 yards and six touchdowns. Matt Schaub discovered his knack for finding Houston's No. 1 tight end once again, targeting Daniels 103 times.
This will be Daniel's second Pro Bowl appearance, his last coming in that aforementioned 2008 campaign where he hauled in 70 receptions. He will join fellow Texans Duane Brown, Arian Foster, Andre Johnson, Johnathan Joseph, Chris Myers, Wade Smith, J.J. Watt and Schaub in Hawaii.
