For the second straight year and third time overall, Mike McCarthy and his staff will coach the NFC Pro Bowl team.
There will be more Green Bay Packers coaches than players in Honolulu on Jan. 27 as Mike McCarthy and his staff will be coaching the NFC team.

This is the third time McCarthy will be a head coach in the Pro Bowl, coaching the NFC team after the 2007 season and again last year. McCarthy has been the coach in Green Bay since 2006, guiding the Packers to the playoffs in five of his seven seasons including the Super Bowl XLV championship season.
Tom Clements has been a member of McCarthy's staff his entire time in Green Bay, but 2012 was his first season as offensive coordinator. In his first six years with the Packers, Clements served as the quarterbacks coach. He was mentioned in the Chicago Bears head coaching search this offseason, but ultimately they decided to hire Marc Trestman and Clements remained in Green Bay. Clements had a long and successful playing career as a quarterback in the Canadian Football League, winning the 1987 CFL MVP award.
Defensive coordinator Dom Capers will likely be on the hot seat next season, but he will be coaching in Honolulu regardless. Capers has been the Green Bay defensive coordinator since 2009 and his defenses have been erratic over that time. With the exception of 2011, they've performed well in the regular season but in the last three Packers playoff losses their defense has given up an average of 44.33 points. Capers has served as a head coach twice prior to joining the Green Bay staff, once with the Panthers from 1995-98 and again with the Texans from 2002-05. In fact, Capers was the head coach of the NFC Pro Bowl team following the 1996 season.
Shawn Slocum will coach the NFC special teams in the Pro Bowl. Slocum has been a member of McCarthy's staff since his arrival in Green Bay, serving as assistant special teams coach from 2006-09 before becoming the special teams coordinator. Prior to joining the Packers staff, Slocum had coached exclusively at the collegiate level.
The rest of the Packers staff will be in coaching Honolulu as well for the Pro Bowl, not that a lot of coaching actually takes place in these games.
