Players at the Pro Bowl have been told to stay away from a Honolulu nightclub in which Washington Redskins tackle Trent Williams was attacked with a champagne bottle Friday morning, NFL.com's Kareem Copeland reported.
Williams was hit over the head with a champagne bottle and received seven stitches, but never lost consciousness, Copeland wrote. Williams was one of "20 to 30" players present early Friday morning as the rapper 2 Chainz hosted a party at M Nightclub.
Copeland reported that one male has been arrested for assault, and that three others were injured.
According to ESPN.com's Adam Schefter, Williams was taken to a Honolulu hospital, given a concussion test (that he passed) and stitched up. He took another concussion test—that he passed again—back at the players' hotel.
Williams was the fourth overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft. The former Oklahoma Sooner was set to appear in his first Pro Bowl on Sunday; instead, Schefter said he'll be on the sideline but not in uniform.
