Still sporting a hefty price tag, the secondary market for Super Bowl XLVII tickets is seeing a slight and steady decrease in overall ticket prices.
For the second straight day it's becoming ever so slightly more affordable to join the thousands of roaring fans inside the Superdome in New Orleans, with both the average price and the cheapest get-in-the-door ticket down a bit with a week remaining until the big game.

According to TiqIQ, tickets to the Super Bowl showdown between the Ravens and 49ers around the web were going for an average price of $3,398, which was, amazingly, down more than $100 from Saturday, when tickets were to be had for an average of $3,499.
If you were just interested in saying to your friends that you actually got in the door, however, it wouldn't run you nearly as much, but the single ticket in Section 645 in Row 32 would still run you $1,776. Who knows how the seller landed on that number, but as the cheapest available ticket on the web according to TiqIQ, that number is down $119 from yesterday's cheapest entry point to the game.
If you're interested in a little more upscale experience in New Orleans next Sunday, you can certainly lay down the $4,999 someone is asking on eBay per ticket in Section 113, Row 34. They've got two, so bring a friend!
