Because we needed to drag this thing out even longer.
The NFL has confirmed that the 2013 Pro Bowl will be delayed 30 minutes due to bad weather.
The all-star game in Honolulu was initially set to kickoff at 7 p.m. ET, but a storm sweeping through the islands has scuttled their plans. The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for the entire island of Oahu, and strong winds were picking up on Sunday morning. There's also a chance of thunderstorms picking up through the afternoon.
The new start time will be at 7:30 p.m. ET.
The Pro Bowl has been under fire in recent years due to uninspiring play and minimal effort. An intense rain and wind storm actually has a chance to liven things up in a game where players usually go through the motions and avoid injury.
If you were one of the three people on the planet who actually set your DVR for this game, it's time to make adjustments.
