Experts believe Seattle is poised for a road victory.
There are a lot of similarities between the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins as they prepare to face each other in the first round of the playoffs. Both are surprise teams with veteran coaches that start rookie quarterbacks.
Having so many commonalities makes it hard to predict which team might win, but the best experts around the country are taking their shot.
Over at CBSSports.com, the experts pick against the spread, and Seattle is favored by 3.5 points. Six of the eight experts are going with Seattle to cover the spread. That includes Will Brinson, who had the best record on the site during the regular season.
Not many picks are in at ESPN.com, but those that are mostly favor Seattle. Three of the four experts who have submitted picks are going with the Seahawks. Only Mike Ditka has picked Washington.
Seattle is also the consensus pick at Yahoo! Sports, where all three experts went with Russell Wilson's squad.
