It's looking like Big Red will be donning the red and yellow next season in Kansas City.
Andy Reid and the Chiefs are reportedly very close to working out a deal to bring Big Red to Kansas City, according to Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen.
The dynamic reporting duo heard from a source that "the major issues have been discussed and agreed upon" so it's looking it's only a matter of time until it's official. Likewise, CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora is reporting that the deal will likely be finalized by the end of the day, with Reid no longer planning to travel to San Diego or Arizona for additional interviews.
Reid is expected to be given complete control over all football operations, so it remains unclear if general manager Scott Pioli will stay on board. There have been some rumors that the recently-fired Tom Heckert has been looking to reunite with his old friend Reid so it's looking like Pioli could be the next one escorted out of the Chiefs' facilities.
Reid was 130-93-1 in his 14 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.
