The Atlanta Falcons are reportedly close to a deal that would see them move into a brand new facility. We discuss the details surrounding the deal.

Even though their season ended too short in their eyes, the Atlanta Falcons have a lot of to be proud of after their performance in 2012.

But it's business as usual in Atlanta, as the Falcons are reportedly closing in on a deal for a brand new stadium. According to sources, the Falcons are willing to pay over $800 million for the new facility. The debt for the Georgia Dome would also be paid off, and the stadium would eventually be demolished.

The deal would require Falcons owner Arthur Blank to front $700 million of his own money. Lori Geary of Channel 2 Action News reported that the deal could be complete within the next week.

The Falcons are not the only team looking to move into a new stadium. The 49ers are also moving from Candlestick Park in 2014 to a new facility that is currently being built. It seems that these up-and-coming teams are truly evolving in every conceivable aspect.

This will be a great organizational move as the Falcons look to establish a new era. After this past season's run, it seems like only a matter of time before they are in a Super Bowl.
