Super Bowl 2013: Randy Moss claims Titans 'blackballed' him

Wide receiver Randy Moss says the Tennessee Titans coaching staff "blackballed" during his eight weeks with the team in 2010.

The 2010 season is one that Randy Moss would like to forget. Moss spent time on three teams and only totaled 28 receptions for 393 yards. He played the last eight games of the season with the Tennessee Titans and only caught six passes for 80 yards. Moss blames part of his lack of production in Tennessee on the coaches, saying they "blackballed" him.

Moss said he doesn't know why the Titans claimed him off waivers after he was cut by the Vikings earlier in the season. "There were some things where I could really tell I really wasn't liked, and that was coming from the coaching staff," Moss said. He followed up by saying that he had a good relationship with head coach Jeff Fisher, and that he wouldn't get into specifics until he writes his book.

His time in Tennessee made Moss question if he was done, but he returned to the NFL with the 49ers this season after sitting out all of 2011. His numbers in San Francisco aren't a lot better than what he put up in 2010, with 28 receptions for 434 yards, but he seems happier.
