It's starting to get away from the Vikings.
The third charm really does seem like a charm for the Green Bay Packers. After splitting the regular season series in two well-played game, the Packers are running away with it against the Minnesota Vikings in their Wild Card matchup. Fullback John Kuhn scored his second touchdown of the game in the third quarter to give Green Bay a 24-3 lead over the Vikings.
Minnesota's backup Joe Webb has struggled, to say the least, completing just 3-of-12 passes for 22 yards. Adrian Peterson is not much help either, after rolling up more than 400 yards in two games against Green Bay in the regular season. Peterson has 48 yards on 12 carries.
The Vikings have some time, with just under 10 minutes left in the third quarter, but they'll need far more than the offense has provided so far.
