Is this a sack dance? We're not sure.
The sack dance. It's the NFL's most humilating celebration and allows a defensive player a much-needed opportunity in the spotlight to relish a good play. After bringing down Joe Flacco early in the second half, Indianapolis Colts defense end Robert Mathis wasn't going to waste it.
It's hard to tell what Mathis is going for here. The kick is self-explanatory, but the shuffle leading up to it -- almost as if he's slipping on ice is just bizarre. Is he mocking a place kicker, pretending to be Flacco? You decide. Also, why is Mathis afraid of bending at the elbows?
