Ray Lewis participates in final kneel-down in Baltimore

The Baltimore Ravens played Ray Lewis off in style.

Ray Lewis has played his final game at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, and the Ravens ensured that their leader since 1996 had an appropriate chance to be sent off in honor. Putting him on the field for the team's final offensive play, Lewis had the opportunity to participate in the Ravens' final kneel-down, which he followed up with an appropriate dance.

During the course of his 17 NFL seasons, Lewis has not only been the NFL's best inside linebacker, but also helped redefine the position. He's a surefire first-ballot Hall of Famer and whether it was motivating his team, relishing in his iconic introduction or having eight 100-plus tackle seasons since 2001, he certainly went out on top -- to the cheers of Ravens' fans.

Lewis's career isn't over yet -- he now leads the Baltimore Ravens into Denver to face Peyton Manning and the Broncos in next week's divisional playoff game. The Ravens are hoping their veteran has a few more dances, and one more ring in his future.
