Seahawks vs. Redskins score: Seattle scores again, 14-10

Daniel Shirey-USA TODAY Sports

The first quarter was all about the Redskins, but the Seahawks are fighting back.

The Seattle Seahawks have built momentum in the second quarter, scoring on successive drives to pull within one score of the Washington Redskins in Sunday's Wild Card playoff game. This score came on a Russell Wilson touchdown pass to make the score 14-10.

Unlike their prior drive where the Seahawks were unable to find the end zone, this drive didn't stall out as Russell Wilson found a wide open Michael Robinson for a touchdown on busted coverage. The drive was fueled by a potential disaster -- as a failed exchange between Wilson and running back Marshawn Lynch put the ball on the ground, where it was live. Due to a heads-up play by Lynch, he picked up the ball and managed to run for eight yards.

With just under five minutes in the first half remaining, the Washington Redskins now have a chance to respond. The early momentum the Redskins had has evaporated, and now both teams are settling into their rhythm.
