Vick suffered a hamstring injury in the second quarter of last week's win over the New York Giants, and was a limited participant in practice during the week before taking part in a full practice on Friday. Officially, Vick was listed as questionable for Sunday's game on the team's injury report.
The veteran quarterback continues to deal with injuries in his time with the Eagles, having played in just 23 out of 32 games the past two seasons. Vick is not under contract for next season, and hinted that he could possible be out for longer than just this one game, according to CSN Philly:
"Right now, still working to get back to it -- get to 100 percent, you know," said Vick. "So it's going to be a long road."
Second-year quarterback Nick Foles will start in his place, with rookie Matt Barkley likely to be active for his first game of the season as Foles' backup. Foles is just 1-5 as a starter for the Eagles and has passed for 246 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions in spot duty this season.
