Pressure is on two young pass rushers in George Selvie and Kyle Wilber to fill the void left by Ware and his 4.0 sacks on the season. Selvie arrived as a free agent this year, joining his fourth team in five years. He made an impact in training camp and was awarded the starting job across from Ware, where he's totaled 3.0 sacks in six starts. Wilber is the wild card in Dallas' pass rush scenario, as the second-year defensive end has recorded two sacks while playing in a rotational role.
If Selvie and Wilber can continue their impressive play the Cowboys will be able to make it through the next four weeks, but the risk is that Ware's absence will allow the young players to be targeted.
Dallas faces three talented offenses in their next four games: the Philadelphia Eagles in a divisional matchup, the Detroit Lions, and then Drew Brees and the Saints in New Orleans before their bye week.
