Saints vs. Bears 2013 picks and predictions: Experts split on matchup between New Orleans and Chicago

Stacy Revere

NFL experts make their predictions on the NFC battle between the Saints and the Bears.

The undefeated Saints will face the 3-1 Bears in Chicago on Sunday. The Saints are coming off a dominant win at home against the Dolphins on Monday Night Football, while the Bears lost an NFC North battle against the Lions in Week 4. The Bears are looking to get back to their winning ways at home, while the Saints are trying to expand their win total and avoid their first loss of the season.

The home team is the 1½-point favorite heading into the matchup against the Saints. When that spread is acknowledged, the CBS Sports experts still lean toward the Bears by a count of 5-3. Since the spread is so small and in favorite of the Bears, the vote stays the same in the straight up picks.

The SB Nation panel of five is split on the matchup. SB Nation's experts favor the Saints in the Week 5 game with a count of 3-2.

The Bears will host the Saints at 1 p.m. Sunday on FOX.
