The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins face off in an AFC East matchup that will determine if the 3-2 Dolphins can gain ground against the 5-1 New England Patriots. Miami's day will be a little easier with top pass rusher Cameron Wake, who's active today.
Wake has 2.5 sacks on the season after missing one game this season due to injury. He leads to Dolphins in sacks along with Olivier Vernon, making his presences today vital against the Bills. It will be interesting to see how Miami deals with running back C.J. Spiller, who's active. The Dolphins have the defense to keep him contained, but this job will be considerably more difficult without middle linebacker Dannell Ellerbe, who is out of today's game.
Buffalo's passing game rests on the shoulders of Thad Lewis, making his second start for the Bills. There isn't a safety net if Lewis falters in his return to South Florida, as newly-signed quarterback Matt Flynn is inactive this week. This is presumably a byproduct of being signed on Wednesday and still learning the Bills' offense.
