Packers wide receiver James Jones (leg) is not expected to play against the Browns on Sunday, per Jay Glazer. Jones was injured in last week's 19-17 win over the Baltimore Ravens, leaving in the first quarter and not returning. Fellow Green Bay receiver Randall Cobb injured his knee later in the game and was placed on injured reserve with designation to return.
Even an experienced quarterback like Aaron Rodgers may have a difficult time without two of his best receivers and the cupboard almost bare.
With Jones out, that leaves Jordy Nelson as the only experienced wide receiver on the active roster against Cleveland. The next-highest receiving yardage total on the team is Jarrett Boykin, who has one catch for 43 yards. Tight end Jermichael Finley, who has 20 catches for 228 yards this year, should also receive more targets.
Jones has 20 catches for 349 yards this season. Boykin and Myles White may receive a healthy amount of snaps on Sunday.
