Chargers vs. Jaguars 2013 final score: San Diego keeps Jacksonville winless

Melina Vastola-USA TODAY Sports

Head coach Gus Bradley is still looking for his first win in Jacksonville after the Chargers easily put the Jaguars away in Week 7.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are still enduring perhaps their worst season in franchise history, which says a lot considering that they were 2-14 a year ago. The Jaguars fell to 0-7 after their 24-6 loss to the Chargers on Sunday, keeping them in contention for the No. 1 pick next April.

For San Diego, head coach Mike McCoy helped the Chargers move to 4-3 as they keep pace in the AFC playoff races. Though they still trail the undefeated Broncos and Chiefs in the West, the Chargers aren't out of the Wild Card races by a long shot.

It's the second straight win for San Diego.

Fantasy Studs and Duds

Ryan Mathews rushed for over 100 yards for the second straight game and scored a rushing touchdown for the first time since Oct. 7, 2012. Danny Woodhead also scored, while Philip Rivers threw for 285 yards and a touchdown.

Maurice Jones-Drew really struggled, rushing for 37 yards on nine carries.

Jaguars tight end Mike Brown, who had just 63 yards coming into the game, caught five passes for 120 yards.

Injury Report

San Diego tackle King Dunlap left with a concussion and did not return.

Did They Cover?

The Chargers were favored by as many as nine points, per OddsShark.com, so they covered easily.
