Browns QB Brandon Weeden struggling against Packers

Weeden has been disastrously bad for the Browns.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden has started off the team's Week 7 game against the Green Bay Packers in disastrous fashion.

He completed only five of his first 14 passes, was intercepted once and was also sacked. Weeden managed an 11-yard scramble as well, but that did very little to salvage his mediocre start.

Weeden earned the Browns' starting quarterback job only after Brian Hoyer went down for the season. However, with Jason Campbell also waiting in the wings, Weeden has to pick up his performance if he hopes to keep his job.

Unlike his first season in the NFL, Weeden has legitimate weapons to work with on offense. Josh Gordon has developed into a star wide receiver, while Jordan Cameron has played well at tight end. Weeden's poor pocket presence and erratic passing have limited the offense.

The Packers stormed out to a 17-3 lead on the Browns, who have become much less competitive with Weeden under center.
