The Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills face off on Thursday Night Football. Both teams will be looking to build on their surprising 2-2 starts.
Brian Hoyer led the Browns to their second win in a row, defeating the Cincinnati Bengals, 17-6. Hoyer has been effective in keeping the offense moving, possibly taking the job from Brandon Weeden for good. He's found a favorite target in Jordan Cameron, who now has five touchdowns on the year. On the defensive side, Barkevious Mingo has been explosive, getting three sacks and terrorizing opposing offenses.
E.J. Manuel continues to play like the inconsistent rookie he is, but it was just enough on Sunday to hang on for a win over the Baltimore Ravens. The Bills have more injury concerns at running back. C.J. Spiller suffered an ankle injury and isn't likely to suit up on Thursday. Fred Jackson seems to have found a second wind, but he's dealing with an MCL sprain. He will try to play through the injury, but may have to wear a brace.
