NFL inactive list, Bills vs. Browns 2013: C.J. Spiller active, Barkevious Mingo to start

Tom Szczerbowski

The inactive list for Thursday Night Football has been released and C.J. Spiller will play.

The Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns kick off Week 5 in the NFL on Thursday Night Football. C.J Spiller will play for Buffalo, but Thursday's inactive list features a pair of well-known defenders.

Jarius Byrd will be out again, missing his fourth game of the season. He had a contract dispute with the Bills this offseason and demanded a trade. Byrd is on the inactive list this week after being listed as "questionable" with a foot injury.

Barkevious Mingo will get another opportunity to impress this week as Jabaal Sheard will miss his second straight week. Mingo finished with four tackles and a sack last week in his first career start.
