NFL odds and lines, Week 9: Eagles vs. Raiders

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The Eagles are favored by just a field goal over the Raiders.

The Oakland Raiders host the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 9, and Vegas is predicting a close match. According to betting website OddsShark, the Eagles are favored by just 2.5 points. The line opened at -3 in Philadelphia's favor.

Offense has been hard to come by for the Eagles lately. They scored just 10 points in their last two games, losing both times. The Eagles were favored by 5.5 points over the New York Giants last week but lost, 15-7, failing to cover. They fall to 3-5 on the season and are also 3-5 against the spread.

The Raiders continue to outperform low expectations and have a chance to move to .500 this week. They knocked off the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, 21-18, and managed to beat the spread as 2.5-point underdogs. The Raiders are 3-4 in the standings and have been a good bet for Vegas gamblers, improving to 5-2 against the spread.
