Known historically for their defense, the Pittsburgh Steelers were presumably quite unhappy after giving up a team-record 55 points to New England last week. Perhaps they used that as motivation in Week 10 against the Buffalo Bills, bouncing back to a comfortable 23-10 win Sunday afternoon.
The return of rookie quarterback E.J. Manuel didn't prove to be much help for the Bills against Pittsburgh. Manuel was 22-of-39 for just 155 yards, one touchdown and one interception. The Bills only added a touchdown when Manuel hit Chris Gragg for a score with three seconds left in the game.
With the win, Pittsburgh improved to 3-6 this season, while the loss drops Buffalo to 3-7.
Fantasy Studs and Duds
Rookie Le'Veon Bell needed 22 carries to get 57 yards, but he did score a touchdown and add 39 yards receiving. Antonio Brown did not score but had six catches for 104 yards. Ben Roethlisberger had 204 yards passing with one touchdown and one interception.
Stevie Johnson was the Bills' leading receiver, but had just 48 yards and no touchdowns. Jackson had 62 total yards and Spiller had just 34 total yards.
Did They Cover?
The Steelers were 2.5-point favorites, per OddsShark.com, so they covered easily.
