Jake Locker injury: Titans QB hurts foot against Jaguars

Locker is questionable to return with a foot injury and has been replaced by Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker suffered a right foot injury in Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and has been listed as questionable to return.

UPDATE: Locker has returned to the sideline on crutches and will not re-enter the game.

Locker appeared to hurt himself late in the second quarter while trying to hand the ball off to Chris Johnson. He spent time being evaluated on the sideline before limping into the locker room for treatment. He is questionable to return to the game.

He was 4-of-9 for 24 yards and threw an interception before being injured. His Titans trail the winless Jaguars, 13-7, late in the second quarter.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, who signed with the Titans as a free agent back in March, is filling in for Locker under center. A Harvard graduate, Fitzpatrick spent time as a starter with the St. Louis Rams and Buffalo Bills. He started the game 5-of-5 and threw a touchdown to pull the Titans back into the game.

Locker has been solid when healthy this season. He's completed 62 percent of his passes, thrown 1,232 yards and has eight touchdowns to four interceptions.
