Chargers vs. Chiefs 2013 picks and predictions: Experts favor Kansas City to rebound

The Kansas City Chiefs lost their first game in Week 11, but experts expect them to bounce back by beating the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.

The Kansas City Chiefs will host the AFC West rival San Diego Chargers in a Week 12 matchup on Sunday. Kansas City is 9-1, having lost its first game of the season to the rival Denver Broncos on Sunday. The Broncos bested the Chiefs by a score of 27-17.

Nobody expected the Chiefs to pull off nine consecutive wins, regardless. The Chargers were expected to compete with Denver more than the Chiefs, but San Diego is currently 4-6 and in third place within the division. The Chargers are also riding a three-game losing skid, falling to the Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins (most recently) and the aforementioned Broncos.

None of SB Nation's six NFL experts think the Chiefs are likely to lose consecutive games, though. All six on the panel chose the Chiefs to win. The panel consists of Ryan Van Bibber, Joel Thorman, Jason Chilton, Stephen White, David Fucillo and Matt Ufford. All eight of the experts at CBS Sports -- including names like Pete Prisco and Jason La Canfora -- concur, and believe the Chiefs have this one all lumped up.
