Chargers vs. Chiefs 2013 odds: Kansas City favored at home

Vegas is giving the Chiefs five points to beat the Chargers in Week 12.

The Kansas City Chiefs host the San Diego Chargers in a Week 12 AFC West showdown. Vegas likes the Chiefs to win -- according to OddsShark, the Chiefs are 5-point favorites.

The Chiefs finally lost their first game of the season in Week 11. They went down to the Denver Broncos, 27-17. The Chiefs were 7.5-point underdogs entering the game, and despite a close matchup, they failed to cover. The Chiefs drop to 9-1 and are tied with the Broncos for first place in the division. Kansas City is 6-4 against the spread.

The Chargers' playoff hopes took another big hit last week after they lost to the Miami Dolphins, 20-16. They were favored by 2.5 points to win but failed to cover the spread by losing. San Diego falls to 4-6 in the standings and 5-4-1 against the spread. They need a critical divisional win this week to stay in the Wild Card hunt.
