NFL odds and lines, Week 13: Bengals vs. Chargers 2013

The odds are close between the Bengals and Chargers in Week 13.

The Chargers will host the Bengals in Week 13. Cincinnati are coming off a bye in Week 12, while San Diego is riding high off a major win over the Chiefs. The Chargers are in the hunt for a wild card berth and need a win over the Bengals to keep even with the handful of teams fighting for a spot in the AFC. The Bengals have firm control over the AFC North but the Steelers and Ravens can still comeback in the division. Despite the Bengals heading to the opposite end of the country, Cincinnati is viewed as a 1.5-point road favorite against the Chargers, according to OddsShark.

The over/under for this matchup is 48 points. The Chargers have had the score go under in five of their last seven games. The Bengals are 6-5 against the spread this season, while the Chargers are 5-6. Both teams average around 25 points, but the Bengals hold teams to an average of 18.7 points per game while the Chargers give away 23.6 points per contest.

The Chargers will host the Bengals on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.
