NFL picks and predictions, Browns vs. Jets 2013: Experts divided on Week 16 matchup

SB Nation's experts are divided on who will win between the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets on Sunday.

The Cleveland Browns are set to take on the New York Jets in a Week 16 matchup on Sunday. Cleveland (4-10) is out of the playoff race and playing to answer questions more than anything. Many had the Browns as a possible breakout team this season, but with a huge question mark at the quarterback position, their present record is unsurprising.

New York (6-8) has improbably been in the playoff race until recently. Rex Ryan's team was still in the wild card discussion until losing to the Carolina Panthers in Week 15. New York played well and had a chance to win, but choked it away in the end, 30-20. Now the question is whether or not Ryan will have a job next season, at least as a head coach.

Still, both teams want to win on Sunday, though the experts are somewhat divided on who will wind up victorious. Of SB Nation's panel of six NFL experts, three are picking the Jets, and three the Browns. Ryan Van Bibber, Joel Thorman and Jason Chilton believe the Jets will hold at home, while Stephen White, David Fucillo and Matt Ufford are picking the Browns.

It's not quite as split over at CBS Sports. Of the eight experts picking, six believe the Jets will win at home, including Pete Prisco and Ryan Wilson. Jason La Canfora and Will Brinson were the two who picked the Browns to win.
