NFL odds and lines, Titans vs. Jaguars 2013: Tennessee the favorites on the road

Phil Sears-USA TODAY Sports

The Titans are favored by Vegas to beat the Jaguars on the road.

The Jacksonville Jaguars host the Tennessee Titans in Week 16 hoping to get back to their winning ways. Vegas doesn't think it will happen. According to OddsShark, the Titans are favored by 5.5 points across the board, with some books favoring them by six points.

The Titans were officially eliminated from the playoff race with another loss on Sunday. They fell to the Arizona Cardinals in overtime, 37-34, losing their third game in a row. The Titans were 2.5-point underdogs and failed to cover the spread with a game-winning field goal by Arizona. They're now 5-9 on the season and 6-7-1 against the spread.

Jacksonville's winning streak came to an end in Week 15 with a 27-20 loss to the Buffalo Bills. The Jaguars were 4-point underdogs and couldn't cover that spread. Despite falling to 4-10, the Jaguars have been playing better in the second half and have a lot to look forward to in 2014. They're now 5-9 against the spread.
