Matt Flynn throws score in critical game, but to wrong team

The Packers are trying to catch the Bears, but instead Cortez Allen caught Flynn.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Matt Flynn is trying to keep his team in the hunt for the NFC North title in the absence of Aaron Rodgers, but instead he's reminding the fans what they're missing without Rodgers. Down 24-21 at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers and driving, tight end Andrew Quarless ran into Flynn as he was jump-passing, perhaps causing the ball to go a bit wide of the intended target.

Cortez Allen caught the pass and went 40 yards for a touchdown. Of course, Allen is a cornerback for the Steelers:

The Packers are a half-game behind the Chicago Bears for the division lead. A win would put them in position to overtake the Bears outright if Chicago loses to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.

Instead, the trail by 10 with just under a quarter left to go.
