Browns vs. Steelers 2013 odds and lines: Pittsburgh favored in matchup with playoff implications

The odds are in the Steelers' favor for their matchup against the Browns in Week 17.

Pittsburgh will host Cleveland on Sunday in an AFC North battle to close the season. The Steelers are still barely alive in the playoff picture but would need a win against the Browns to even consider qualifying for the postseason. Pittsburgh needs a loss from the Dolphins, Chargers and Ravens to go along with the win to make the playoffs. The Browns can play spoiler by simply beating the Steelers. However, Pittsburgh is favored by 7 points, according to OddsShark.

The over/under for the matchup is 44 points. The Steelers are 8-7 on the season when it comes to the over/under. The Browns have a similar 8-6-1 record with the total points. The Steelers score an average of 23.9 points per game, while allowing 24.2 points to opposing teams. Cleveland averages 20 points per game, but allows 25.7 points on defense.

The Browns are 6-9 against the spread, while the Steelers are 8-7 on the season.
