Super Bowl score: San Francisco offense struggling, goes three and out

The 49ers' offense is struggling and is lucky to have punted instead of getting intercepted.

The San Francisco 49ers just want to get to halftime. They are playing horribly and after another bad drive, they would love to get to halftime down just 14-3.

The 49ers started the drive at their own six after the Ravens' failed fake field goal and were lucky to have punted, because they could have turned the ball over yet again. After a Frank Gore run for no gain, Colin Kaepernick threw late and gave Cary Williams a chance to break on the ball. He did, as he dove and almost intercepted the 49ers' rookie. After that, San Francisco had no interest in playing with fire again and ran a draw on third down.

Baltimore called a timeout after third down to stop the clock and give themselves time on their next drive. Jacoby Jones dropped the punt, but recovered and returned it to the Ravens' 44, where they will take over with 2:07 remaining.
