Super Bowl 2013 score: 49ers defense forces three-and-out

Chris Graythen

The 49ers are starting to find a pulse.

The San Francisco 49ers defense is starting to step up, holding the Baltimore Ravens to a three-and-out.

After a San Francisco touchdown cut the deficit to 28-13, Baltimore came out passing once again, but couldn't do anything. The highlight of the drive was a 10-yard Joe Flacco sack by Ahmad Brooks on third down, forcing another punt.

Ted Ginn took the punt deep into Baltimore territory, and shortly afterwards Frank Gore punched it in. Suddenly we have a one-possession game and 17 unanswered points from the Niners, making Ravens fans very nervous. Insert your own "lights-out" joke here.
