The Super Bowl lived up to its name, and the commercials also held up their end of the bargain. You can view all of the Super Bowl commercials here.
The Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers put on quite a show in Super Bowl XLVII, playing it right down to the wire.
However, there were also many stoppages in play including a power outage, giving plenty of time for the commercials to work their way into the fray.
One of the best was the Mercedes Benz clip where a man is about to sell his soul to the devil (played by Willem Dafoe) before seeing that he can attain what he wants by simply being in the new Mercedes. Thanks to the car, he gets to hang out with Usher and Kate Upton. Very funny.
On a more serious note, the commercial involving Jeep was a tearjerker. The company did a masterful job weaving in just how important our armed forces are and how much they are missed when abroad, while subtly showing their product. It also had star power with Oprah Winfrey narrating.
Those are just a few of the best commercials, but certainly some of the best.
