At first glance, it appears Dennis Pitta was well on his way to a 10 or 11-yard gain. With the help of some solid running and a few poor tackle attempts, Pitta turned this play into a 61-yard touchdown.
Tony Carter had Pitta lined up and pinned against the sideline, but Pitta shrugged off Carter's tackle attempt with ease. Pitta was still pinned against the sideline and Jim Leonhard was there to tackle him, but Pitta used a spin move to dispatch Leonhard and break into the open field. He then used a stiff arm to step out of a tackle attempt by Rahim Moore before running into the endzone.
(7) Riley Cooper Doesn't Need Two Hands
Tight coverage? Check. Great one-handed catch? Check. Two feet inbounds? Check. Teammate slapping you repeatedly for a great play? Check.
This two-yard touchdown grab by Riley Cooper has it all. Dallas' Morris Claiborne had close coverage but Cooper went above him to snag the pass with one hand. He came close to not getting two feet inbounds, but secured the ball quickly enough that the officials ruled it a touchdown.
