Lane Johnson could wind up with the Cardinals or Chargers, as Arizona and San Diego are showing great interest in the Oklahoma offensive tackle, according to CBS Sports's Jason La Canfora.
Johnson will attend this week's NFL Draft with his family, per La Canfora, and it's likely his name will go off the board in the top 15 picks. He's the third-best offensive tackle available, according to SB Nation's Matthew Fairburn, and at 6'6 and 303 pounds, he would provide size and talent to any team's offensive line.
Scouts and coaches really began to take notice of Johnson after his performance at the NFL Combine in February. He completed 28 reps at 225 pounds on the bench, and his 40-yard dash time of 4.72 seconds was blazing for an offensive lineman, showing he has a great deal of athleticism.
While most pundits see Johnson as a rising talent, at least one NFL scout isn't buying it:
"I think he's a fraud," a scout told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "He can't run block. I don't think he plays strong. I don't think he moves guys."
In his latest mock draft, SB Nation's Dan Kadar has Johnson going No. 11 overall to the Chargers.
