The 2013 NFL Draft is over, and there will be plenty of time for assigning grades and complaining about assigning grades this early. But for now, let's see what people around the Internet had to say about the Day 3 selections. CBS Sports' Jason Chilton graded every late round pick, and SB Nation's Matthew Fairburn was on the scene in New York. Let's see how the NFC West did on the final day of the draft.
Arizona Cardinals: It was a good Day 3 for the Cardinals. Chilton gave them an A- for getting DE Alex Okafor in the 4th, whom many had pegged as a 2nd round talent. Fairburn praised them for snagging WR Ryan Swope in the 6th round, and believes that RBs Stepfan Taylor and Andre Ellington will make a fine duo in the backfield.
St. Louis Rams: The Rams continued their good fortune on the last day, getting an A- from Chilton for stealing C/G Barrett Jones in the 4th. He gave them a B- for RB Zac Stacy in the 5th. They didn't have any picks in the 6th or 7th rounds.
San Francisco 49ers: GM Trent Baalke absolutely mopped the floor on Day 3. grabbing WR Quinton Patton and RB Marcus Lattimore in the 4th. Chilton gave them a A and A- grade, respectively. They got a B+ for DT Quinton Dial in the 5th. The rich got richer in this case.
Seattle Seahawks: John Schneider got a killer steal when DT Jesse Williams fell into his lap in the 5th round. He got an A grade from Chilton and praise from Fairburn, who says that "he was just another solid addition to what is shaping up to be another quality draft class in Seattle". They also took CB Tharold Simon in the 5th, which got a C grade from Chilton. He gave them a B+ for taking WR Chris Harper in the 4th and thinks he's a possible successor to Golden Tate.
