Undrafted free agents 2013: Collin Klein among 23 new Texans post-draft

Matthew Holst

The Texans were among the busiest teams after the 2013 NFL Draft, signing 23 undrafted free agents, including quarterback Collin Klein.

The Houston Texans may have been one of the busiest teams in the league following the end of the 2013 NFL Draft. They signed 23 prsopects, according to reports.

Quarterback Collin Klein stands out the most on the list. The Texans have a young depth chart behind Matt Schaub, with T.J. Yates, Case Keenum, and Stephen McGee currently on board. Klein is a former Heisman Trophy finalist, and should have a reasonable chance of making the roster, assuming he can clean up some of his wonky mechanics.

Unsurprisingly, the team that found Arian Foster as a UDFA is taking a look at four undrafted running backs. Pittsburgh's Ray Graham was very productive in college, and would seem to have the best chance of going on to a strong NFL career. Cincinnati's George Winn and Notre Dame's Cierre Wood also have potential as every-down ball carriers. Arkansas' Dennis Johnson has potential as a change-of-pace back.

Here is the full list of the Texans' UDFA prospects. Be sure to check out the reaction at Battle Red Blog.
