Moe was brought in as an undrafted free agent from the Missouri Tigers this spring, but unfortunately was never able to make an impact in OTAs and rookie camp after he tore his Achilles tendon. Moe had signed a $30,000 guaranteed contract for a chance to make the team, more money than any other UDFA was given by New England.
Should Moe clear waivers, which is very likely considering the nature of his injury, the Patriots would have the opportunity of putting him on their injured reserved list. Currently, there is no timetable for when Moe could return to action, but he will likely be on the shelf for at least six months.
While at Missouri, Moe was a standout receiver who played alongside Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback and former first-round pick, Blaine Gabbert. In his collegiate career, Moe racked up 2,101 yards and 11 touchdowns.
