Kraft was a guest on CNBC's "Summer on the Street" on Friday afternoon, and ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss recapped the action. Kraft expanded on his previous statements that he admires Tebow's spirituality and said that he doesn't understand why people wouldn't relate to Tebow.
The most interesting thing Kraft said was that he hopes Tebow is on the team's 53-man roster at the end of the summer.
Here's what Kraft said, via ESPN Boston.
"We want high quality people who work hard, are team players. I don't think there is a nicer person that I've ever met, and now he'll get to compete with all the other people at the position, and our hope is that he's on our 53-man roster."
Ultimately, Bill Belichick makes the football decisions in New England, and that's the reason the team has been so successful for over a decade. Kraft has managed to let the football people make the football decisions. But he clearly has a special admiration for the newly signed quarterback, so one has to wonder if he'll try to convince his coach to keep him around.
